Today 13 July 2024 Hardin Unit 113 Juniors attended their monthly meeting. Today’s theme was “Service Not Self”. We discussed what that means and how we honor our veterans, promote Patriotism and Americanism and how we have fun in the process. Abby, Brayden, Lilia and Vivian were presented their Poppy Patches. We discussed the Americanism Essay Contest and we complimented Lilia for winning the contest for her age group this year. We also complimented Lilia for receiving the Junior Unit Member of the Year award and the Department Junior Member of the Year award. Congratulations to Lilia for receiving these awards! Our activity of the day was rock painting. We will complete the artwork at our next meeting. Our Juniors/Young SAL are “rock” stars!
